Vanilla ACE

London, UK Indie Dance / Nu Disco Deep House Electronica +2

London's Vanilla Ace exploded on the scene back in 2012 with releases on Toolroom, MODA, Blockhead, Maquina and Ministry of Sound. With a distinctive production sound somewhere between house and disco lovingly and influenced by New Jack Swing and the 80's, the newly emerged DJ/Producers tracks had early support from the likes of The Magician, Soulclap and Seth Troxler just to name a few.

Since this breakout on dance music’s most exciting independent labels, Vanilla Ace began to climb dance music’s most notable barometers and was subsequently nominated for ‘Best Breakthrough’ and ‘Best New Artist’ for the Soundplate awards in 2012. Keeping up the momentum, 2013 saw him go from strength to strength with high charting singles on Beatport, Traxsource and Trackitdown and his 2013 ‘Musicology’ EP on OFF recordings received acclaim from bloggers, DJ's and fans alike. His ‘Bring it Back’ track spent 7 weeks in the Beatport Deep House top 10 with massive support from Pete Tong to Tiesto.

Vanilla Ace has had a steady stream of releases over the last year including collaborations with Sharam Jey on Bunny Tiger, Chad Tyson on Dear Deer, Barber on Go Deeva and remixing the likes of Basement Jaxx, Destructo, Yolanda Be Cool and Boris Dlugosch to name a few. With a plethora of original material released on Nurvous, Suara, Cr2, LouLou Records and remixes on Milk and Sugar, Sweat it Out, D*Vision and Erase , Vanilla Ace continued his quest to create quality house music with groove. He was subsequently named as one of Beatport’s Top 10 best selling Nu Disco/Indie Dance Artist for 2014.

Touring globally, Vanilla Ace in the last year has toured India, North America, Australia and Brazil. Playing to over 9,000 people in Green Valley, Brazil last year was his most stand-out show to date. 2015 is set bring a myriad of tour dates and releases including more international tours alongside major festival appearances and a whole load of new remixes, originals and collaborations set to be released.
