Time Splitter started Djing at the rise of the Underground Dance Music Scene. His respect for people and electronic music reflects in his artistic creations. As a skillful performer known for clean mixing and a master of Turntables, Pioneer CDJ's, and Abelton live. His first real pair of turntables were bought off Dj Lord, when He first moved to Atlanta, Ga. In 1996. Buying them at a fellow DJ cost, He had to take the 1200's apart in order to fix them. To make them run smoother, he used a beer bottle cap and a piece of gum. He started handing out mix tapes in the city. Producing an urban street style predominately of Drum and Bass and Jungle. Then moving on to playing in Atlanta's underground rave scene at the best club events. He was buying records in the basement of the club clothing store Wish, which was Satellite Records Underneath at the time. He was getting people to specialty order records from the UK fresh off the dubplate press. His style started forming as to be one of the pioneer's of cut style Jungle mixing. This consisted of cutting the amen loops or samples of songs back and forth, from one channel to the next, until the first track was done playing. Instead of the traditional style of blending a mix. He ended up getting his BFA Degree from Atlanta College of Art in 2000. He moved back to Florida to start a weekly Funked Up Friday's In Tampa's Ybor City. Later on taking on a residency at the Legendary Club Underground. Getting more involved with throwing events like boat cruises, island parties, and warehouses. Djing along side of some of the best Djs in the world, as well as opening for Dj Sasha at Winter Music Conference. TimeSplitter is the owner of his new label Consisting of Heavy Dubstep, and a mixture of all musical styles in one, making a true unique underground sound for the masses.
