Sascha Flux

Germany Progressive House Tech House Techno

'Sascha Flux'(Attitude Rec | Plusquam Division)

- started DJ-ing back in 1998 on the now infamous party-island of Koh PhaNgan (Thailand).
His stage debut was at the 'Backyard-Club', the islands popular hotspot for excellent progressive house & deeper techno.
After a very short time, he became resident dj, and played more than 50 gigs at this very unique Venue, and at the very special parties, deep in the jungle or on secret beaches around the Island.

He quickly made himself a well know name in the progressive dance scene of Koh Phangan and eastern Thailand, resulting also in a residency at Paradise Bungalows, the place where the worldwide known Fullmoon-Party once began. These experiences with internationally mixed up crowds in some really special moments, gave his dj-ing a very special note, and this eventually helped him to soon become a well known dj in Germany aswell.

Now after more than 10 Years on stage, he played countless gigs in different kind of clubs and parties all over Germany, in Austria(Vienna,Salzburg), Switzerland(Zuerich), Italy(Rome), Netherlands(Amsterdam), Israel(Tel Aviv), Indonesia(Bali), Thailand(Koh PhaNgan/Koh Tao/Bangkok) and many other places.
Also his gigs at well known festivals such as the Fusion Festival or Wonderland Festival proove his great variety.

In his recordbox is a lot of different stuff and even if Sascha is strongly rooted in progressive house, there's always a lot of space for fresh influences and new ideas.
He's not limited to one particular style, as he also features the deeper sides of minimal techno, minimal electro, electro house and other stuff with that certain deepness or progressive feel, he's known and loved for.

In 2008 his debut EP 'Never trust the Drugweib' got released on Dezign Music (Greece). The track revealed Sascha's clubby side and gained him his first recognition as a producer.
Further releases followed quickly and his first vinyl release, a Remix on Fraud Recordings (Germany), even made it to No#1 on Juno Records (UK) progressive house charts.
His first EP 'Plateau Playground' got released on Attitude Recordings from Canada and took a deeper electro-tech direction... and this was just the beginning.

At the moment Sascha is busy in the studio, to finish his debut-album which is planned to be released in 2012 on 'Plusquam Division' (Germany).
Recently a Remix for Tobi Monotona 'Förderturm' has been released and in between there's another remix for Makau feat Kagl called "Je Pense" in the pipeline. Seems to be a lot coming up here within the next few month... stay tuned !
