Patrice Meiner is a dj and producer living in Berlin, Germany. You may also know him as part of the highly successful duo Kabuto&Koji. Recently Patrice decided to move to Berlin after living in Costa Rica for 20 some years and playing extensively throughout north and south America to branch off from the duo and start to build his solo career . In the little time he has lived in Berlin he has managed to land gigs in the most respected clubs in berlin such as Watergate , CDV,  Badeschiff , Tresor, Arena , Weekend and twice in Bar 25 and Kater Holzig as well as other European countries like Poland, England , Spain, Czech Republic and Ibiza. His sets speaks to all the different druggy floor senses, grasping the light with abstract, moody and deep elements, while ably keeping a crowd pulsating with hypnotic basslines and well-structured drums. He is currently is in the middle of working on his new solo tracks as well as collaborations with other renowned artists in Berlin. Recently he signed on board the FUSE family from london with a future release alongside Liefko, one of the members of the infamous Afrilounge trio, expect this release to hit stores in late April. As Kabuto&Koji him and partner Leo Falfan, have a discography of memorable remixes and productions, Kabuto & Koji have rightly earned a worldwide buzz for their take on the contemporary deep and tech sounds. Working out of their studio in Costa Rica, their music has been embraced around the world by the leading new crop of labels. Steve Lawler’s Viva imprint; the massively influential Get Physical (and its sister sub-label Kindisch), Audiofly’s red-hot Supernature label; Sven Vaths cocoon anual compilation, Connaisseur , 8bit , Remote Area and Mexico’s Akbal have all featured Kabuto & Koji remixes and original productions. Their remix of Raz Ohara’s ‘Kisses’ was handpicked by M.A.N.D.Y for their Fabric 38 mix CD as well as their track Drunken Slumber was picked for Jim Rivers Global Underground and Sven Vaths cocoon compilation.
