Buenos Aires, Argentina Breaks Chill Out Deep House House +4

In the last few years Nic’s performed at many of the best reputed booths in the country, from underground spots like Bahrein and The Shamrock to more superclub-type of places like Mint, Niceto and Pinar de Rocha in Buenos Aires, where he shared the bill and the booth with an array of top-notch artists from all around the world.

After playing in Argentina for a while, in 2008 Nic crossed his country’s borders to headline a party in southern Brazil and the following year, Nic was booked by Mamitas Lounge in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, to perform in series of presentations alongside JT Donaldson (USA), Christian Burkhardt (Ger.) and resident Lukas Calcagno. 2010 found him on the Mexican road once again for 5 gigs in Mazunte, Puerto Escondido, Toluca, Cholula and Villahermosa where he set tongues wagging with his brand of House.

As a producer, his unreleased cuts and edits had already begun making room in tracklists and charts of djs from across the world when his version of a tribute to Disco martyr Larry Levan by Christian Hornbostel & Alfred Azzetto called 84 King Street was included in an release on Purple Music. Later that year he released his second work, a remix of Plastic Fruits by Dj Slaash on Toto Recordings, Ukraine. In 2010 he released a Chicago-flavoured remix of The Better Half by Smartminds on Spirit Soul Music. In 2011 Nic had his remix of Touch of Change by Soulmelt released on Gooseneck Records, from the US. In 2012 Nic released a version of Tim Engelhardt’s In My Circle on Sesque Music.

Nic keeps playing around Argentina and the world, using a complex set up that comprises a laptop, two MIDI controllers, an audio mixer and a CDJ. Thanks to his tireless quest for quality and innovation, Nic delivers a house sound that’s as refined as cheeky and as hipnotic as powerful.
