Atlanta, GA, USA Progressive House Tech House Electro House +1 - Before Kevin DuRard learned to read and write, he learned the language of music. For that reason, for him it has always been the easiest form of communication, since he began his study of music at the age of four. Taking his experience as a pianist, vocalist, and singer/songwriter, his career has grown to encompass more of his personality, in particular his passion for emotion and energy on the dance floor. Recent successes along this path include a current residency on and performing two nights at the Gay Days Pool Parties in 2010.

In 2007 Kevin DuRard’s previous experience brought him to open for the main event with DJ Dan De Leon at Cherry Weekend in Washington, DC. The following year, 2008 marked the third consecutive year performing for Cherry Fund as well as introduced Kevin DuRard to Gay Internet Radio Live’s online audience. A chosen contestant in the website’s online DJ contest, DuRard received the honor of finishing as a top eight finalist.

Previous DJ residencies include Cobalt Nightclub, BeBar, and Delirium at Pasha in Washington, DC as well as Rouge at 59 Lake in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Other special events along the East Coast include performances at the Atlanta and Washington DC Pride Parades, Halo and Chloe Lounges in Washington DC, and Ibiza Nightclub in Wilmington, North Carolina.

When Kevin DuRard spins, he borrows from many different styles depending on the crowd, time, and space; however, his undeniable emotional energy always remains a constant thread through the music. Whether he is performing his original songs or spinning for a crowd on the dance floor, it is guaranteed he will be creating something that moves you—both emotionally and physically.
