JOE MORLEY (East Project)
Project FM/BRONX

Having being heavily influenced by his father, Joe started to feel a certain connection with house music and his love for stripped back, pure underground house music progressed enormously year by year. This is when he discovered the fine art of track selecting/beat matching. He first got the chance to play out in a small local bar in his home town at 17 years of age, and after a few years of proving to be a particular party goer himself, at just 19, Joe is fast developing a distinct connection between himself and the crowd, constantly updating himself and hunting for ways to improve, but at the same time maintaining his originality.

His involvement in London based party East Project started in early 2011 when he played at their second party in a small intimate basement space in Shoreditch. Today, as a DJ and promoter, Joe is successfully bringing his love for deep/dubby techno & house along with him to show the crowds across the capital what he is really about. Influenced by the likes of Enzo Siragusa & the fuse boys, [a:rpi:ar] (Pedro, Rhadoo, Raresh), Loco Dice, tINI, Margaret Dygas, Seth Troxler and many more. Going to see his favourite artists play week in week out at the capital's finest, grittiest stomping grounds has enabled Joe to pick up different styles of music and DJing & mould them together to make it his own in his sets.

Already establishing himself around London, playing at various venues such as 93 Feet East, The Victorian Vaults, Cargo, Warehouse, EGG, Public Life, CAMP Basement, Pacha and many other basements and dark, gloomy spaces in the hidden corners of London, with artists such as tINI, Hector, The Martinez Brothers, Subb-an, Sam Russo, Rich Nxt, BLM, Herodot, Xandru, Samu.l, Robert James, FB Julian, Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Russ Yallop, Sam Russo & gigs lined up at the huge Zoo Project Festival in Kent in September, not to mention his weekly radio show with fellow DJ and AoD resident Charlie Dave Kent, Joe is definitely one to keep a close eye on in the near future.
