Falseface

United Kingdom Progressive House Tech House House

In 2010 the mysterious Welsh based dance act Falseface was formed. A collaboration of two of south Wales’ most talented DJ’s and producers they combined their expertise to become this exhilarating act.

With a tech/progressive house sound perfect for peak time play it wasn't long before they started to get noticed by their peers.
Turning heads within the dance music world over the past 18 months with Singles 'First Sight' and 'Between The Speakers' gaining support from some of the scene's biggest players from Oakenfold and Tiesto through to Fedde Le Grand and Seamus Haji, Falseface is beginning to appear in lots of DJ's sets…

It’s not only the work from the studio that’s making people sit up and take notice, Falseface live sets are crossing genres through underground house, electronica, techno and everything in between. From diverse residencies and gigs across the UK,
Falseface has begun to build up a solid fan base for this unique sound.

2011 saw the partnership split and Fablu Meah is now the brains behind the act. Working with labels such as Pukka Up Records and The Str8jackets' Deluded Records Falseface has a very busy release schedule for 2012/13.

Remixes for The Str8jackets ('When…?'), Purple Shade & Reda Lahlou ('Make Me Feel') introduced Falseface to the Pukka Up Label with a bang before the debut single release on Pukka Up, the 'Deadline' EP which has been supported by a huge selection of global DJ's and features on multiple compilations.
The second EP on Pukka Up 'One More Time' is set for an August release with Ibiza set primely in its sights.

DJ gigs in Indonesia, London, Cardiff and Estonia have been recent highlights too with further dates scheduled with Pukka Up over the coming year.
