A name very much on the rise in global electronic music, in just a few short years Doran went from a relative unknown to an international artist and renowned favourite in ‘taste maker’ city Barcelona. Canadian-born with global influences, Doran has blood of 7 nationalities running through his veins and his lived in 9 countries. He honed his craft in what is arguably the nightlife and electronic music capital of the world, Spain.
Doran spends the majority of the year in Barcelona is a regular in the cities most renowned venues including La Terrazza, Hotel ME, Opium Mar, Shoko, Mellow Beach (Hotel W), Aura (Playeros), Boulevard, and L´Atlantida. He is a resident dj of Miniclub, an underground after hours that has been graced by great artists like Magda, Richie Hawtin, Tobi Neumann, Alexi Delano, Anja Schneider, Alex Celler & Anthea, and Mauricio Vargas among others.
Doran plays and produces emotionally provocative house and techno that he hopes makes audiences feel happy, cool, rocking, and loved. His sessions are known for their elegance, sensual feel, and positive energy.
Doran has toured in South America including gigs in Brazil (Museum, Love Story), Argentina (Ego) and Uruguay (Living Room). Doran ended 2011 as being part of the prestigious dj line-up for the Encore Canada party that was broadcast all over the world on Fashion Television. This past July he was one of over 80 artists booked to play the OHM Festival in Hvar, Croatia where he will dj alongside Steve Lawler, Behrouz, Davide Squillace, Martinez Brothers, Paco Osuna, Satoshi Tomiie, Ramon Tapia, and many others.
In summer 2012, Doran joined the team at Alola Records and will have first releases along with a compilation on the label in late 2012/early 2013.
