Ally Mac aka "Public Domain" / "DiscoWorx/ HouseWorx" Sony Music Group /Xtravaganza Scottish Platinum, Gold & Silver award winning artist, producer, Dj, & Sound Engineer, is no stranger to many in the genre driven club scene worldwide. Having had 3 UK Top 40 Chart hits including a Top 5 for 11 weeks, The worlwide smash hit dance anthem "Operation Blade - Bass In the Place London".
He's had tracks licensed to over well over 350 compilation albums worldwide.

Having produced and written & remixed tracks with such legends as Chuck D (Public Enemy) "Rock The funky beats" ... dance diva Rozalla "EveryBody's Free to Feel good", ......Yves Deruyter "Back To Earth", .....A.T.B "The fields of Love" and a whole plethora of others.

He has worked for some of the worlds largest record labels, both Major and Independent in a variety of styles and music genres.
Selling in excess of 3,000,000 singles and has achieved sales awards in all catagories (Gold, Silver & Platinum) from the respective Collection Agencies, spanning the globe from the U.K to Australia.

Ally has also accumulated chart success in over 18 countries, straddling the line between Pop star status and club credibility, appearing on Top of the Pops (UK & Germany), and also The Pepsi Chart Show (UK & Australia) with his Public Domain videos still receiving regular coverage on all networks.

Having had headlining appearances at Ericsson Homelands (Scotland & England), Slinky (UK) Planet Love (Ireland) Coloursfest (UK) Hollands 90,000 Dance Valley, The Carling Reading & Leeds Festivals, The worlds largest Night Club Privelege In Ibiza,(back to back appearances during the massive Radio One Ibiza weekend) "The Dome" Germany , and Television appearances on the entire MTV Network ,The Rapture Television Network, and also the legendary Gatecrasher N.E.C April 2001 Event.

This event which was most notably the first ever Live Club Event ever to be broadcast on the Sky Network with a viewing audience over 100 million people…….culminating at the Alexandria Palace in London for the finale of the Tiscali World Dancestar Awards 2001, an appearance of Ally and the guys that is still broadcast and talked about in the industry today.


He was also most notably to become the first ever Artist AND also Writer to receive the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters Guild “Chart Newcomers Award” in 2001, a "first" achievement never to be repeated as both an artist and also as a writer in Universal Music Awards Premier Showcase event.

Having achieved everything that the tougher edge of club music can provide, and after having produced, engineered,and created the whole Public Domain experience from its earliest formation, to international chart success.... He felt He had guided it as far as it could ever go......So in 2005 he left Public Domain behind ....as a "great memory" decided to relocate from his native Scotland to the less wet pastures of Poland.

His ethos is..... "Playing one style of music all night gets tiresome,and boring, for both punters and me, So I try and fuse Discotech,House,Techno ..all different flavours.... in one long enjoyable journey for the dancefloor - I play whats needed at the time, I forget about genres, I play what the floor needs to vibe off, This is the way it should be!"

He's been a resident on Heinekens massive GreenZone tour, Headlined the IV International Electronic Music festival, and played regularly on the nationwide Miller Draft Promo Tour, twiddling the knobs in clubs all over Poland &Central Europe.

So move over Electro, We're all tired of the sounds... ...After a well earned hiatus from the industry...Ally Mac will definately be pushing his own interpretation of Dance Music to the masses, once again in 2014.
